the cherry blossom festival at Brooklyn Botanical Garden, in New York City.

This section of the botanical garden had a Japanese theme and the cherry blossoms, which last all of 3 weeks, brought the whole section to life. I cannot wait to visit Japan during the full cherry blooms. No wonder they have inspired poets and haiku writers for centuries.
