Cherry blossoms in early spring at Brooklyn Botanical Garden, New York City.

I thought it would be a fine irony to post memories of spring, now that the fall colours are fading and winter is upon us. Continuing with the cherry blossom festival at Brooklyn Botanical Garden, I post a haiku inspired by these cherry blossoms:

Fleeting spring moments
bring dashes of pink and white;
a timeless beauty.
